PhenoVation’s imaging systems will allow you to apply time-lapse imaging to your research. This will let you visualise your research more clearly, which can obviously be of great benefit. The systems are capable of imaging whole plants, leaves, complete well plates or individual wells . These data collection methods are all non-destructive. The video on the left shows the effect of applying 2 droplets of non-systemic herbicide to black nightshade. The video on the right shows the infection of phytophthora on potato leaves.
An increasing number of breeders and growers is starting to use imaging systems for assessing the quality or current stage of development of their products. Imaging systems are already being used for a variety of simple tasks, like sorting based on size, height, and width. Multispectral and efficiency of photosynthesis imaging, however, allows you to identify plants that perform poorly in photosynthesis or plant physiological parameters such as the chlorophyll index and anthocyanin index. These new parameters will accelerate breeding projects due to early assessment and more objective measurements.
PhenoVation delivers cutting-edge, multispectral imaging systems for plant growers, researchers, and multinationals. We assist our customers in their steps towards innovation and automation.
